What should a quotation identify?

Requested sport and competition level, material and construction, dimensions and weight, playing surface or environment, and set contents belong in the response. The catalog names describe inquiry choices; they do not assert stock, approved performance or measured specifications. A mini stick request should state whether it is decorative or intended for a defined activity.

Compare pieces against pieces and confirm any pack ratio. Decoration, sample costs, packaging, carton dimensions, freight and destination exclusions affect the comparison. State a budget currency and per-piece or whole-order basis if useful; supplier preference describes your priorities rather than a verified grade.

Use the sourcing responsibility matrix, Order Brief and procurement article to prepare unresolved questions. Where product documents are relevant, request exact-item test evidence and identify the proposed version before relying on a claim.

Where handedness or requested length changes the order mix, ask the supplier whether the quoted minimum applies to each version or the combined total. Confirm the sample reference and approval owner before accepting a decoration or dimensional change. A retail performance phrase is an input for questions, not a verified purchasing result.

Field hockey, ice hockey and decorative miniature requirements should remain separately identified even within one order discussion. Record acceptable substitutions explicitly, retain the quotation revision and keep unanswered questions visible. Supplier availability, the actual manufacturing party and any proposed material remain to be established through the sourcing process.
