Order Brief
Custom field hockey stick order brief
Connect the requested playing discipline, configuration and order mix to one specification revision. A field hockey inquiry must be distinguished from ice hockey and decorative miniature requests before supplier quotations are compared.
Submit the briefA worksheet for decisions, not assumptions
01 · Product definition
Name the sport, intended activity, user group and surface. State requested length in cm or in, weight in g and material and construction requirements. If a supplier proposes an alternative, ask it to identify the difference explicitly rather than treating the alternative as an equivalent product.
02 · Order mix and artwork
List quantities in pieces by each version, graphic design and packaging format. Give the artwork revision, decoration dimensions and approval owner. An illustrative requirement of 120 pieces divided into three designs of 40 pieces each still needs a minimum-order response by design; it is not a stated supplier MOQ.
03 · Budget and service trade-offs
Specify currency and per-piece or whole-order budget basis. Compare neutral packaging against customized packaging, standard decoration against additional proof stages, and a narrower assortment against more versions. These are choices for quotations, not claims about any supplier's capabilities or prices.
04 · Shipment assumptions
Identify the US delivery point and desired arrival timing. Ask for carton dimensions, pack ratio, sample and tooling charges, freight scope and exclusions. Do not compare an ex-factory line with a delivered total until the omitted components are resolved.
Keep four evidence states separate
- Requested: record the buyer's specification and acceptable alternatives.
- Documented: request supplier details and exact-item test evidence for any performance statement that needs support.
- Sample reviewed: identify the actual sample, check dimensions and construction against the agreed notes, and record differences.
- Order confirmed: connect the quotation, approved revision, packaging and stated shipping scope before commitment.
A family description is not certification; a related sample is not production approval; and an earlier price is not a current offer. Product suitability and any applicable standard require review for the exact proposed item. This service does not conduct or claim completed tests.
