Hockey equipment procurement workspace

Independent coordination

About Custom Hockey Stick Sourcing

Our role is to help US business buyers turn hockey product requests into questions that suppliers can answer and buyers can compare. The service name identifies an independent sourcing partner. It does not indicate a stick manufacturer, stockholding retailer or authorized third-party brand representative.

Discuss a procurement requirement

Four operating principles

  1. Start with an explicit requirement

Ice hockey, field hockey, miniatures and replacement grips are not interchangeable procurement categories. Name the sport, intended use and requested configuration; list dimensions and weight with units rather than relying on a product phrase.

  2. Keep quotations comparable

Use one quantity and pack basis, and ask each respondent to identify substitutions. Decoration, samples, individual packaging, freight and destination charges belong in the discussion when applicable. A lower headline unit price can carry a narrower scope.

  3. Separate statements from evidence

Record what the buyer requests and what the supplier has confirmed. A specification sheet is not a completed performance review. Exact-item test evidence, where relevant, must identify the proposed product rather than another model with a similar name.

  4. Leave approval with the buyer

Compare the alternatives, resolve outstanding questions and record the approved version. We coordinate the discussion; we do not promise stock, guaranteed delivery, product certification or savings.

What can be known at the first inquiry?

Information you can provide

Buyer channel, reference images, requested length in in or cm, quantity in pieces, handedness split, artwork permissions, US destination and desired timing establish the initial request. Optional budget and supplier preference explain cost and service priorities without requiring an existing quotation.

Information still to confirm

Supplier identity, material and construction, availability, order minimum, sample charges, carton dimensions, delivery scope and document relevance require supplier responses. Missing details remain open questions. No company history, production capacity, customer outcome or credential is implied by the service.

A clear brief makes the discussion useful

Use the Order Brief for specification questions, Services for responsibilities and the procurement article for comparison scope. Tell us which decisions are fixed and which alternatives may be considered.
